nissan electric car concept

The world’s automotive industry is turning to electric vehicles. This makes the alliance of Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Renault plans to increase their investment in producing electric cars.

The increasingly massive development of electric vehicles has made the three manufacturers move quickly to deepen this collaboration.

According to one source, the investment for this electric car will reach 20 billion euros for the next five years. This plan will be announced on Thursday (27/1).

The goal is that the alliance can produce 30 electric cars using a new battery system built from the manufacturer’s platform by 2030. This is an additional 10 billion euros that the alliance has spent on electrified vehicles.

However, a Nissan spokesman declined to comment on the speculation. Meanwhile, a spokesman for Renault and Mitsubishi did the same thing.

The alliance plans to forge more intensive cooperation until 2030. Its goal is electrification of vehicles and connected mobility.

Reportedly, the five common platforms are expected to account for 90%, of the electric cars that are expected to be developed and launched by 2030. This alliance of three car manufacturers has already developed and partially deployed four common EV platforms.
